Meeting Notes: Terms of use
Effective October 2, 2026These terms cover your use of the Meeting Notes app, made by MiniGamr LLC (we, us). By using the app you agree to them.
Your license
The app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), found at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. These terms add to that agreement. If the two ever disagree, Apple's EULA applies.
What the app does
The app records audio on your phone. With an active subscription, it sends recordings to our server and our speech recognition provider to make a transcript with speakers and AI written notes: a summary, decisions and action items.
Transcripts and notes are made by machines and can contain mistakes, missed words or wrong speakers. Check anything important against the recording before you rely on it.
Recording responsibly
You are responsible for having the right to record. Many places require everyone in a conversation to agree before it is recorded. Tell the people in your meeting that you are recording and follow the law where you are. Do not use the app to record anyone without their knowledge where that is not allowed.
Subscriptions
- The app offers weekly and yearly subscriptions. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
- Recording is available without a subscription. Playback, transcripts, notes, sharing, copying and export need an active subscription.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The next period is charged within the 24 hours before the current one ends.
- To cancel, open your App Store account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Each plan includes a fair-use amount of recorded hours (shown in the support FAQ and in the app). When you reach it, new recordings wait on your phone and are processed after the limit resets.
Refunds
All payments go through Apple, so we cannot give refunds ourselves. Apple handles refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Use at your own risk
The app is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. You use it at your own risk. Keep your own copies of anything important.
As far as the law allows, MiniGamr LLC is not liable for loss of recordings or data, mistakes in transcripts or notes, or any indirect or consequential loss from using the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Utah, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. A new version applies once it is in the app with a new effective date.
