JPG to PDF Support
About the app
JPG to PDF turns your JPG, PNG and HEIC photos into one PDF, right on your phone. Your photos are never uploaded.
Making a PDF
How do I make a PDF?
Tap Choose photos at the bottom of the screen and pick your photos in the order you want them. To use images from the Files app instead, tap the folder button next to it. Your photos appear as pages. Put them in order, check Page setup, then tap Convert to PDF.
How do I change the page order?
Hold a page for a moment, then drag it to where you want it. The page numbers update as you move it. You can also hold a page without moving it and pick Move to start or Move to end.
How do I rotate or remove a page?
Hold a page and pick Rotate right, Rotate left or Remove. You can also tap a page to see it large and use the buttons at the bottom. If you remove a page by mistake, tap Undo right away.
Can I add more photos after I start?
Yes. Tap the Add tile after the last page to add more photos. To add images from the Files app, hold the Add tile and pick Add from Files.
How do I pick the page size, margins and quality?
Tap Page setup above the Convert to PDF button. Page size can be Same as photo, A4 or Letter. With A4 or Letter you can also pick the orientation and the margins. Quality can be Original, High or Smaller file, and each one shows about how big the PDF will be. What you pick is used for your next PDF too.
Which quality should I pick?
Original keeps your photos at full resolution and is best for printing. High stays sharp on any screen and makes a much smaller file. Smaller file is good for email and for websites with upload limits.
A page says Could not load. What do I do?
This usually means the photo is stored in iCloud and has not finished downloading to your phone. Check your connection and tap Try again. You can also remove that page and keep going.
What if I leave before my PDF is made?
Your pages are saved as you work. Next time you open the app, tap Continue on the Unfinished PDF card to pick up where you left off.
Your PDFs
How do I send or save my PDF?
When your PDF is ready, tap Share to send it with Mail, Messages, AirDrop or any other app, or to print it. Tap Save to Files to put a copy in a folder you choose.
Where are my PDFs kept?
Every PDF you make is listed on the main screen of the app, newest first. Tap one to open it. Your PDFs also appear in the Files app, in the JPG to PDF folder.
How do I rename or delete a PDF?
Hold a PDF in the list and pick Rename or Delete. You can also swipe left on a PDF to share or delete it. With iCloud backup on, deleting a PDF also removes it from iCloud Drive.
How does iCloud backup work?
When you are signed in to iCloud, the app keeps your PDFs in your iCloud Drive, so they also appear on your other devices and come back if you replace your phone. To turn it off, tap the Settings gear and switch off iCloud backup. Your PDFs then move back to this phone only.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Your PDFs are made on your phone, and your photos and PDFs are never sent to us. If iCloud backup is on, your PDFs are stored in your own iCloud Drive.
Purchases
How do I restore my purchase?
Tap Restore on the purchase screen, or tap the Settings gear and then Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, so you cancel them in the Settings app on your phone, not in JPG to PDF. Open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Pick JPG to PDF and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Privacy and terms
Where can I read the privacy policy and terms?
Both are in the app under Settings, About, and on this site at minigamr.com/privacy/jpg-to-pdf and minigamr.com/terms/jpg-to-pdf.
