JPG to PDF: Privacy policy
Effective September 29, 2026JPG to PDF is made by Minigamr LLC (we, us). This policy explains what the app collects, why, and the choices you have.
The short version: your photos and PDFs are made and kept on your phone and are never sent to us. There is no account, no ads and no tracking.
Your photos and PDFs
The app turns the photos you pick into a PDF on your phone. The photos, the pages you arrange and the PDFs you make are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
You pick photos with Apple's photo picker or from the Files app, so the app sees only the photos you choose. It does not ask for access to your whole photo library.
You can also take photos with the standard iOS camera to add pages. Photos you take stay on your phone, just like the photos you pick, and are never uploaded. iOS asks for camera access the first time you tap Take photo, and you can change this any time in iOS Settings.
While you work, the app keeps a copy of your unfinished pages on your phone so nothing is lost if you leave. It deletes them once your PDF is made or when you discard them.
When you make your first PDF, the app saves a small marker in your phone's Keychain noting that a PDF was made before, so reinstalling the app does not show the first-run guide again. The marker contains no personal data, stays on your phone and is never shared.
When you share a PDF or save it to Files, it goes where you choose. The app or service you send it to handles it under its own rules.
iCloud backup
When you are signed in to iCloud, the app keeps your PDFs in your own iCloud Drive, in the app's folder, so they appear on your other devices. Apple stores them under Apple's privacy policy. We cannot see them.
You can turn iCloud backup off any time in the app's Settings. Your PDFs then stay only on your phone.
What the app never collects
- Your name, email, phone number or any account. The app has no sign in.
- Your photos, your PDFs, their names or anything in them.
- Your exact location or your contacts.
- Your advertising identifier (IDFA). The app shows no ads and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Usage data and crash reports
The app sends a small amount of usage data to our own server: which setup screens you saw and the answer you picked in the first setup question, where your photos came from and roughly how many, your page setup choices, whether you moved, rotated or removed pages, when a PDF was started and finished with a rough page count and time, whether you shared, saved, renamed or deleted a PDF, whether iCloud backup is on, whether sample data was added or removed, when Apple's rating prompt was requested, and when the purchase screen was shown or a purchase or restore happened. It never includes your photos, your PDFs or their names.
The app also sends crash and performance reports from Apple's MetricKit. They describe where the app failed, not what you were doing.
Each report also includes your device model, iOS version, language and country or region, and when the app was opened and closed.
These reports carry a random install id that the app creates on your phone. It is not linked to your name, your Apple Account or your device. Deleting the app throws it away, and a new install gets a new one.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, nothing is sent until you agree on the consent card, and you can turn it off any time in Settings with Share usage data. Everywhere else, usage data and crash reports are on. To ask us to delete them, write to contact [at] minigamr [dot] com.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. We never see your card or any payment details.
To unlock the app, our server receives the purchase record Apple signs for each transaction: which product, its status and dates, and a transaction number, together with the random install id. We use it only to confirm your access and to keep our sales records. This is part of the purchase itself, so it does not depend on the usage data switch.
Settings from our server
The app downloads a few settings and the purchase screen layout from our server. Like any internet connection, this shows our server your IP address. We do not use it to identify you.
When usage data is on, these requests also carry the random install id.
How long we keep data
We keep usage data and crash reports only as long as they help us run and improve the app. We keep purchase records as long as accounting and tax rules require.
Deleting your data
You can delete any PDF in the app. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your phone, except the small Keychain marker described above, and stops all reports. PDFs in your iCloud Drive stay there until you delete them, for example in the Files app.
You can also use Delete all data in the app's Settings. It removes every PDF on your phone and in the app's folder in iCloud Drive, the Keychain marker and the app's settings, and returns the app to its first screen. It does not cancel or refund a purchase.
To ask us to delete data on our server, write to contact [at] minigamr [dot] com. We reply within 30 days.
Your rights
If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or limit its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. We rely on your consent for usage data and crash reports, and on our contract with you for purchase records.
If you live in California, the CCPA gives you the right to know what we collect, to ask us to delete it, and to use these rights without being treated differently. We do not sell or share personal information.
To use any of these rights, write to contact [at] minigamr [dot] com.
Children
The app is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13, or under 16 in the European Economic Area.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page in the app and change the effective date at the top.
